We felt like we were at home when away from home. Giovanni and Mary felt like family. They checked in on us daily and made sure we had everything we needed. Truly the kind of hosts that care about their guests. They provide a beautiful breakfast to start each day and they are never far from reach if you have a question or would like a suggestion on where to shop, eat or sight-seeing. A charming property that is well kept and welcomes you with open arms.

Excellent location with the old town on your doorstep. Easy parning in your drsignated place. Comfortable, very well maintained double room with kitchenette. The accommodation was very clean, with housekeeping tidying the rooms every day. We had a ground-floor apartment facing the garden, so it was nicely shaded. The air conditioning was only in the hallway (kitchen), but it managed to cool both bedrooms—though it was necessary to keep the doors to both bedrooms open at night. The staff were very friendly and kind, and the bar had good prices. The pool was clean, with stunning views of the sea and, in the distance, the smoking volcano Stromboli. It’s about a 10–15 minute walk to the center of Tropea. You can also take a taxi or call an Uber. The nearby beaches were clean with excellent water quality. Breakfast was not included in our stay—we didn’t mind, as our children don’t eat much in the morning. For dinner, there was a pizzeria just behind the house, or restaurants in the center of Parghelia or Tropea. It’s a great location for many trips around the area, including excursions to Sicily and Mount Etna (by car). We would definitely like to return next year. We stayed in the apartment for a total of 9 nights. Many thanks to Aldo for the hospitality :)

As a solo traveler I felt safe and the location of the apartment couldn’t have been better. It is clean and quiet and I loved being here. I will absolutely return here.
