Residence Porto Ulisse is surrounded by tropical gardens on the west coast of Calabria. The accommodation was very clean, with housekeeping tidying the rooms every day. We had a ground-floor apartment facing the garden, so it was nicely shaded. The air conditioning was only in the hallway (kitchen), but it managed to cool both bedrooms—though it was necessary to keep the doors to both bedrooms open at night. The staff were very friendly and kind, and the bar had good prices. The pool was clean, with stunning views of the sea and, in the distance, the smoking volcano Stromboli. It’s about a 10–15 minute walk to the center of Tropea. You can also take a taxi or call an Uber. The nearby beaches were clean with excellent water quality. Breakfast was not included in our stay—we didn’t mind, as our children don’t eat much in the morning. For dinner, there was a pizzeria just behind the house, or restaurants in the center of Parghelia or Tropea. It’s a great location for many trips around the area, including excursions to Sicily and Mount Etna (by car). We would definitely like to return next year. We stayed in the apartment for a total of 9 nights. Many thanks to Aldo for the hospitality :)

Affittacamere Stella Rooms ตั้งอยู่ในเรจโจ ดี คาลาเบีย ในระยะ 1.8 กม.จาก Lungomare Reggio Calabria และ 1.9 กม. The location was perfect, right in the city center. The room décor was beautiful and cozy, and the staff were exceptionally friendly.

As with many properties, if the basics of cleanliness, comfort and location are covered, it's the host who can really make you feel welcome and valued as a guest. Though we didn't get to meet Antonio in person it felt as though he was right with us prior to arrival and during our stay. First of all we had a phone catastrophe and thus couldn't communicate via booking.com. Antonio instantly adapted, seemed to genuinely sympathize (which helped!) and proactively put us in touch with a nearby repair store owned by a friend of his. Imagine our surprise when we went to the shop and right on our heels the owner arrived, greeted us warmly, issued instructions to the pleasant and helpful technician, and zipped off. It felt like VIP treatment and was all the more helpful because all the Italians spoke perfect English, easing our stress when that was much needed. For the rest of our stay Antonio checked in regularly to see if we had questions or needed anything, and he was always instantly responsive to any queries. Apart from all that, the common area was a lovely amenity, with juices and milk for coffee in the refrigerator.

It has all new amenities including a coffee pod machine, kettle, water on arrival, great air conditioner, and large smart TV. There is a space to hang clothing, and a mini fridge, perfect for extra water or snacks. It is only a 5 minute walk to the main square, so it’s not busy or loud during the night. The host, Fabio, is amazing! He was extremely helpful in answering all our questions regarding anything we needed. He was able to assist us in getting our clothes cleaned and he even drove us to the train station for an early morning departure (of course at a small extra cost) but he arrived with cakes/croissants for all of us. Fabio sent us many recommendations on food and activities during our stay, which was very helpful. There were 4 of us in the apartment for 7 nights, 2 adults and 2 children (ages 7 & 10), and there was still plenty of room for us and 4 large suit cases in the room.

We loved the striking contrast between the ancient doorway leading to a traditional courtyard and then the super modern, top quality interior. The host, Luca, was so kind and helpful. He greeted us warmly, helped with parking and reserved a great restaurant for dinner. The location was ideal, close to the wonderful old town. It really was a special place to stay

Leonardo Suites Scilla อยู่ในชิลลา ในระยะ 22 กม.จาก Archaeological Museum - Riace Bronzes และ 23 กม. Everything was great, perfect location, nice and clean room, comfortable bed, very kind and friendly owner.
