Trieste 411 - Rooms & Apartments is situated in Trieste, within 1.2 km of Piazza dell Unita d Italia and 1.8 km of Trieste Harbour. We booked this one day before arrival as our other accommodation wasn't what we expected so we weren't expecting 5 star glamour or anything! The staff were great and it was easy and hassle free to check in and out, they even gave us some tips on places to go and gave us a map of the city. The room was nice, the bed was unbelievably comfortable and the bathroom was great with a brilliant shower. There was a kettle with some snacks, tea and coffee and also a mini bar if you wanted anything else (extra charge but not crazy prices). I really liked the fact that you could open the windows fully unlike with a lot of hotels where you can just barely get some air in (this could be due to there being decorative metal window bars outside for security reasons I guess), but with it being quite warm and not liking using air conditioning (which the room also had) this was great. The hotel was located just at the end of the main street and about 5/10 minutes walk from the main train and bus stations. Perfect for being close to everywhere without being surrounded by crowds and noise.

This is a great choice for a comfortable stay in Trieste. The building has an elevator and functions like a hotel of apartments, with a central check-in desk and staff member available during the day for questions. The apartment was clean and comfortable; the bathroom was modern with a shower that had plenty of hot water and good water pressure and drained well. The apartment also has a washing machine which is helpful when traveling for several weeks at a time. The WiFi worked fine. Location is good -- easy access to apartments and bars.

Detta familjeägda hotell ligger bara 2 km från stranden Sistiana och erbjuder luftkonditionerade rum med platt-TV med satellitkanaler och gratis Wi-Fi. We liked everything at this hotel. The staff was polite and kind, explaining us nicely everything we needed to know. The breakfast was very good and rich, had everything that you needed, even options for gluten free menu and even the coffee was good. The location is excelent, has a free private parking and bus station right in front of the hotel. Very good if you want to relax and just take the bus to Trieste or Miramare castel. The room is basic, but clean, with a good bed, a good air conditioner and a perfect window sound isolation. I would come back here definitely.
