Probably the best stay I've ever had anywhere. Two floors all to ourselves. Very artsy interior. A private onsen. Exceptional service. Yukata to wear. Lots of gifts.

L’établissement 伯方plus+ se situe à Imabari, à respectivement 35 km et 37 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine et Henjou-in Temple. The owners of this stay were so very very kind. We had to inform them that someone on our reservation was unable to come due to an illness, and they went out of their way to get her a souvenir! How kind is that?! When you arrive, they give you a cup of, possibly, the most delicious heated orange juice I have ever had. Genuinely both my brother and I were shocked at how good it was lol. They were also very complementary of my terrible japanese, so bonus points for hyping me up XD. The stay itself is quite small, but it has a magnificent view out of the window to the beach and the palm trees, and the sunset over the mountain is breathtaking. It also has everything you would need for a stay, fridge, microwave, table, kitchenette, etc. Special shoutouts to the shower, holy crap the heat and water pressure from that thing were life changing, and I wish I could have taken that shower home with me. Genuinely in the months that I have stayed in Japan that was the best shower I have ever had. No worries about food, there is a Konbini very close as well. All in all this was a wonderful stay, very convenient, hosts were really nice. Absolutely will try to stay here again when I retry the Shimanami Kaido.

Lovely couple running the place. Super accommodating as we ended up checking in a bit early due to heave rain (we were arriving on our bikes). Everything was nice and clean and the common areas were lovely. The kitchen was well equipped so we could cook lunch and breakfast without problem. The host also helped us book an awesome place for dinner and fitted our modest budget. Super helpful. The family room was spacious and comfortable for 5 people. Totally recommend this place.

L’établissement みやうら御殿 vous accueille à Imabari, à respectivement 35 km et 38 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine et Saikon-ji Temple. L’accueil était excellent, l’hôte et ses aides étaient super sympas, le cadre extraordinaire : chambre, équipements (même si les wc étaient à l’étage du dessous, la lessive était gratuite), Masashi nous a fait un excellent curry et d’excellentes glaces. Un arrêt plus que bienvenu sur la shimanami kaido !

Situé à Hikino, l’établissement ゲストハウスみちしお propose un salon commun. Les hébergements offrent une vue sur la mer et disposent de la climatisation, d’un bureau et d’une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite. Had an amazing experience! The guesthouse is located in a beautiful location at the foothills of some mountains on Yuge island. It's quiet but restaurants and convenience store are easily accessible by bike. Was truly a unique experience. Koji was also an excellent host. Would strongly recommend!

You get your own little house with kitchen and possibility to do laundry. The house is in such a good condition and in a nice Japanese style. The host is super friendly and helpful.

Everything was super clean, the spaces are really nice and it is perfectly located in the middle point of Shimanami Kaido :)

L’établissement Guesthouse Farmor - Vacation STAY 15083v se situe à Imabari, à 31 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine. Tout, mais particulièrement l’accueil chaleureux de la propriétaire, qui en plus parle bien l’anglais. Elle fait tout pour rendre notre séjour agréable. Elle nous a conduit au bain public après une journée de vélo. Elle offre un petit déjeuner et elle est très attentive à nos besoins. Ce fut un plaisir de la rencontrer et je lui donnerais 15/10

This lovely traditional Japanese house was a wonderful place to stay on our bike trip. While neither party could speak the other's language very well, we were able to communicate fine. The luxury touches in the beautiful and spacious rooms made everything feel welcoming. If you like fish, make sure to order the kaiseki meal that the hosts will prepare for you. It is worth every penny. They also offer a simple but elegant breakfast included in the stay. We started calling this the "it's all downhill from here house" because we knew we wouldn't be staying in anything as grand for the rest of our trip.
