The CrossFit Tiny House was a charming little abode in the outskirts of Iya Valley. Connected to a well stocked CrossFit gym, it provided us with everything we needed, a well equipped kitchen, clean and comfortable bathing facilities, cozy sleeping and a peaceful environment to use as a base to explore the valley for a few days. We also participated in a mobility class in the gym free of charge as guests of the house and the owners were kind and helpful 🙂

Set in Ino, 28 km from Odo Dam Museum, そらやまゲストハウス Sorayama guesthouse offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. We were anxious about the accommodation being close to the road, but it was not an issue at all. Our bedroom balcony extended over the picturesque riverbed. The guest house has recently been renovated in a tasteful, thoughtful manner. We have stayed at accommodations of all budgets, from private multi level ocean front houses to places like this with shared bathrooms. We loved our stay here, there were ample bathrooms, they were modern and immaculately clean, we enjoyed meeting other guests and finding out tips on where to go. The hosts David and Yoshiko are amazing. The Family Mart next door was handy for snacks. Our two teens enjoyed as much as we did the Ramen restaurant and Izakaya close by. Two nights here was not enough for our family of four ( two teens, mom and dag )

Aia ja terrassiga Guesthouse boro-ya asub Kōchi jaamast umbes 50 km kaugusel. Majutusasutusest avaneb vaade mägedele. Kohapeal on ööpäev läbi avatud vastuvõtt ja piknikuala. The guesthouse is located a few hundred meters above the valley floor with a great view of the surrounding mountains and the river in the valley. It’s nice and quiet with only sounds of nature audible. The bathing facilities are in a separate small building, which makes the place quite unique. The hosts made a very flexible check in possible and prepared some refreshments.

3.9 km from Sukumo City History Museum, みなと館 華 is a recently renovated property located in Sukumo and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. I had a wonderful time here, I loved everything about it! My room was very comfortable, the facilities were excellent, the host was kind and generous, and the view of the harbour from my room was beautiful. I wish I could have stayed longer, and I'd recommend this place to anyone.
