Best place I have stayed in in Japan so far! It has a super cool vibe with a cozy working space filled with personal touches, perfect for relaxing or catching up on any work. It was designed by the owner and you can see the personal care behind it. Bunks in dorms are clean, spacious and super cozy with the wooden aesthetic. The staff was so welcoming and generous, it was great to be able to meet them as a solo traveller and made it feel like I was staying with friends. Walking distance to train station and large supermarket only 10 mins away. I wish I could have stayed longer and I will come back here if I come back to Shikoku.

And Lawson just 1 min walk. 4) nice staff helped me make henro reservations.

The owner Mari speaks fluent English and she goes out of her way to serve the guests. I’ve enjoyed my stay thoroughly. We were travelling around on motorbikes and found this fantastic guesthouse, which was very clean, with spacious rooms and all amenities required within striking distance to Mt Aso. The owner was very helpful, even helping us book ferry tickets to Shikoku, and the attached Izakya had great food and atmosphere.

La casa es perfecta, con unas vistas preciosas y con TODO lo que alguien puede necesitar. La estancia ha sido maravillosa y muy relajante. Repetiríamos sin dudarlo.

The owner was very kind to fetch me from the station in the evening and he drove me back to the station in the morning in the rain which was much appreciated by me.

Incorporating both the warm feeling of a wooden cabin along side a newly renovated and clean private bathrooms and shower. Although connected to the host's home, you will have complete privacy. Also worth mentioning it is fully equipped with everything you'll need. Masa & Tomoko are lovely hosts that will make your stay hospitable and will be available for your every need. I would highly recommend staying here as part of your trip to Shikoku.
