JamboHouse Lamu is set in Lamu, 300 metres from Gallery Baraka, 500 metres from Lamu Museum, and 500 metres from 18th Century Swahili House Museum. Fantastic place to stay in Lamu old town. I'm really happy with this choice as I could experience Lamu in a more authentic way, while staying in a venue that offered a cozy and pleasant comfort. Arnold (the host of the place) was really helpful in giving tips and suggestions on how to make the most of my time there. He also helped plan some activities (as a solo traveler this was super helpful as some activities required a small group of people). Simple accommodations but very clean and hosted with care.

Situated within 500 metres of Shela Beach and 200 metres of Mnarani House in Lamu, Jua House provides accommodation with seating area. The bed and breakfast features city views and a sun terrace. Beautifully decorated and clean with an excellent, friendly, and attentive staff , great location with easy walking distance to all activities and beautiful views from the top floor. Building had generators so we still had power when power went out in the area.

Located in Lamu, a few steps from Manda Beach and 400 metres from Mnarani House, Red Moon House provides spacious air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. Everything was incredible. A luxury vacation with staff that make you feel at home. Food and service was incredible.

Star House 3 is a triumph in the use of space and refreshing air flow through the whole unit. It is well appointed, comfortable, and clean. It has a luxurious king size bed with high quality linen. Staff are friendly and unobtrusive.

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool and views of garden, Baytulkher is a recently renovated bed and breakfast set in Lamu, 100 metres from 18th Century Swahili House Museum. The venue is in the old town, where you getbto experience authentic Lamu culturem. Malik was also super helpful 👏

Featuring a shared lounge and views of garden, Shela Bliss is a recently renovated bed and breakfast set in Lamu, 400 metres from Manda Beach. Very beautifully decorated. Very central. They send help at the boat arrival to carry the luggage. Breakfast is great and local. Nothing was missing

Featuring garden views, Sai Shanti House provides accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 300 metres from Manda Beach. Everything. The place is awesome and the host super kind and helpful. And I couldn't believe how fresh the apartment was when outside it was overwhelmingly hot!

It is such a lovely place that will make your stay in Shela a beautiful memory. Super cozy, spacious, full of light, with all amenities, drinking water, non stop electricity even during power cuts, great ventilation, chilled vibe and above all a constant support by Chris and Reuben, who have been great in all terms and made us feel like home.
