Nothing is a problem and any issue is fixed straight away. We arrived in terrible weather and he helped get dinner for us. We were sad we missed the sun! It’s conveniently located and walking distance to the entrance of Adams Peak. Nice breakfast is served, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood. The hosts greeted us with hot tea with was very welcome in the cold of Newura Eliya. We had a delicious dinner in the homestay on our first night.it is also possible to book tours through the homestay as the husband is a guide. Extra blankets were offered also as it can get cold in Newura Eliya. The breakfast each morning was an absolute feast. I would recommend.

This one we got to know after experiencing other accommodation where we were in Sri Lanka. For Appleton Villa it’s all about service and caring while others only the money. The best thing that happened there was the welcoming and outstanding hospitality from staff who made our stay enjoyable.They are very professional, understanding, welcoming and caring. They exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend the Appleton Villa.

Even though we didn’t spend much time in Nuwara Eliya, we really enjoyed our stay at Madusanka’s homestay. The place was very clean and comfortable, and we felt at home. Madusanka was very kind and helpful, always polite and friendly, and he made sure everything we needed was taken care of. He even arranged a car for our journey the next day, which helped us a lot. We wish we could have stayed longer. If we come back again, we will definitely book this place without thinking twice✨
