Situated near Kandy Museum and Sri Dalada Maligawa, Terrace Kandy is in Kandy and features free private parking and a restaurant. We had a wonderful stay at Terrace Kandy. The family room was big and comfortable. The location was great, being close to the city centre but up on the hill and away from the hustle and bustle. The host Ashaan was super helpful and friendly. We did the Ambuluwawa Tower tour with him. He was so patient and gave us all the time we needed at the various places.

The most outstanding asset of this hotel is its stuffs and their service. Mr. Bathiya and other stuffs were really attentive and helpful. When I asked about the opening hours of the museum before my departure for Sri Lanka, he even took the labour of visiting the museum in person and found out it was open on Sundays. He said the museum did not answer his call. They also advised me to dine not at a fancy and touristy restaurant but at a good restaurant frequented by local people. I could enjoy delicious local food eating among the local people. Also, I accidentally left some medicines in the room when I checked out, and Mr. Bathiya have them delivered to my next accommodation without any charge. This is an incredible show of hospitality. The location is good also. The hotel is in a quiet residential area near the lake and it is only about 10 to 15 minutes to the town centre. The room and linens were of course very clean.
