After a very tiring journey, Adique Resort was a fantastic landing spot to recover from the journey. A beautiful boutique hotel, a wonderfully spacious room with a stunning view of the Indian Ocean. Do not search for 4 or 5 star hotels. This hotel is more than sufficiënt. The hotel manager let us check in earlier, in the morning so we could catch up on sleep. This tidy and clean. You have the option to have fan or AC. The bathroom is outside with a roof, but all hotels are like this in this city. The owner is very nice and answers all questions very quickly. The hotel is well located, close to other hotels/restaurant and to KSL camp if you want to kite. I’ll come back!

EXCEPTIONAL! We booked based on the great reviews and it was even better than we expected. Photos don't do justice to how beautifully the rooms are built using really high end materials. Staff were so nice. We stayed in deluxe room (upgrade) and also stayed in the brand new rooms which are just opening with wrap around balcony looking out in the trees for sunrise and sunset. Pricing was very clear and reasonable - including for transfers, they compared it with PickMe for transparency and we used their driver Dilshan for 2 transfers (one from Negombo) and he was excellent. Nicki was our safari Spotter and she taught us so much. And it's wonderful to see the only female guide being supported to work in the national park. This place runs like a high end hotel but it's family owned and run, and the family all work here and have the best work ethic - and the food buffets are outstanding. I cannot recommend staying here enough.

Nice and quiet setting in a farms area, although a bit far from the sea for those looking for beach holiday. For us was just fine as we enjoy daily long walks to discover the area. We had both breakfast and dinner. Very tasty, regards to the cook! The room has plenty of space to move around. We appreciated the high ceilings (had the upper floor) and nice views with palm trees canopy from the balcony.

We loved everything about the Ceylon Resort. Roshan and his family have built a beautiful accommodation, unpretentious yet elegant, a compliment to the nature all around it. The meals were the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka. Roshan took care of our transport to and from Wilpattu, and booked us on a small group (4) safari where we got lucky and saw a leopard plus other amazing animals. Our stay here was an absolute treat. A friend recommended this experience to us and we confidently give it a solid recommendation to others.

Three weeks into our trip, we still find ourselves thinking back to our first stay at Windy—with big smiles. We had an amazing time in our hut, but what truly made the stay special were the people. From the kitesurf team to the restaurant staff and reception, everyone was incredibly kind, fun and welcoming. Breakfast was great, with plenty of choice, and the food menu offered good quality at very reasonable prices. And best of all: the volleyball net!
