The staff is phenomenal. Celebrated my husband’s birthday and the team made it exceptional. Thank you for going above and beyond to make our stay so comfortable. Sea Sand Resort features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Kalpitiya. The property is around 200 metres from Kandakuliya Beach, 600 metres from Kudawa Beach and 2.1 km from Kalpitiya Beach. Great location just minutes away from the beach with facilities to kite-surf, scuba dive, dolphin/ whale watching etc The Bungalows are excellent value for money with traditional red tile roofs which are surrounded by palm trees and kept immaculate clean with en-suite bathrooms they have the option for air-con but I found the ceiling fan sufficient. They have a wide variety of local source food which expertly cooked by the chef there’s traditional food and western options and they also do vegan and vegetarian so something for any taste

We recently enjoyed a memorable stay at Ceylon Resort Wildpattu, located near Wildpattu National Park. The owner was exceptionally kind and upgraded our room to a spacious, comfortable suite complete with a large bathroom and hot water. The resort’s unique setting nestled within nature means you’re surrounded by the sights and sounds of the jungle—even the garden attracts a variety of local wildlife. Despite arriving late (around 10:20 PM), we were warmly welcomed. The owner personally ensured that our late arrival was taken care of by waiting with a delicious buffet dinner featuring an array of traditional Sri Lankan dishes. He even explained every dish and introduced us to delightful local desserts. Another highlight was the convenient transportation service offered by the resort. The owner arranged rides to and from various destinations, even picking us up from a location 2.5 hours away. We also took part in an exciting safari trip to Wildpattu National Park via this resort.. Our driver for safari was knowledgeable and resourceful, successfully handling minor other mcar repairs during the safari. The journey through the humid forest was thrilling as we encountered numerous animals, creating an unforgettable wildlife experience. While our stay was brief—we only spent one night as we headed out for a full-day safari—the clean, spacious rooms and the owner’s attentive care made it feel like a home away from home. I wholeheartedly recommend Ceylon Resort Wildpattu to anyone looking for an immersive nature experience combined with genuine hospitality.

Situated in Chilaw, 38 km from St Anthony's Church, Spice of Ceylon features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. This place is a hidden gem. Spacious rooms, beautifully decorated ans a comfy huge bed. The pool is lovely and the grounds and then you have the sea, right there. Elizabeth and her team go out of their way to meet your every need and dinner was great.

Situated in Waikkal, within 1.3 km of Kammala Beach and 10 km of St Anthony's Church, Ging Oya Lodge offers accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, pool with a view and free bikes. Great location not far from the airport. Beautiful nature all around. Great pool. The manager is kind and professional. Will definitely come again.

With garden views, Agro Village Resort, Kalpitiya is set in Kalpitiya and has a restaurant and a 24-hour front desk. This property offers access to a terrace, darts, free private parking and free... Really cool tree house rooms on the peninsula. The host and cook is amazing and he makes delicious meals. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom is partially open air which was really cool. The hammocks and tables made it a peaceful haven. The pool was still being made when I went but it will be a really nice addition. I highly recommend this place.

The place has a special place in our hearts because the closeness to the nature. The owner is a very warm and person and he arranges Safaris cheaper than the cheapest we found from the internet. And we had a nice guide/driver who had so much knowledge and eye for wild life there in the natural park. His food buffet is also amazing. I think this place really offers what you pay for. Highly recommend

Set in Kalpitiya, a few steps from Kudawa Beach, Windy Waves Beach Nature Resort & Kite School offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a private beach area and a shared lounge. Food and staff members are outstanding, the manager of the hotel is a former 5 star hotel's chefs. We could kite just in front of the hotel and it s a true pleasure to eat with your feet in the sand watching the sunset

Set in Wilpattu, The Backwaters Lodge offers accommodation with seating area. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Great jungle atmosphere, you literally hear only the sounds of jungle while sleeping. The owner Tarique was amazing, helped us with everything and gave us great tips not only for Safari in Wilpattu, but also for travels around Srilanka. Also, the dinner was to die for, the best one we had in Srilanka. The location is perfect, just a short tuktuk drive away from Wilpattu national park.
