This is actually an old people's hotel / care place. It is absolutely wonderful and very luxurious. The guest rooms are also offered as hotel rooms when there are no family members/friends visiting their elderly relatives/friends. The room was huge and the beds and the bedding were absolutely wonderful. The bathroom on its own would have been a sizeable hotel room otherwise. It would also be possible to stay there with some handicap, e.g. a lift to help you onto the toilet. At the same time it wasn't feeling like you were in an old people's home.

Smaakvol Slochteren ligger i Slochteren, 22 km fra Simplon og 22 km fra Martini Tower, og tilbyder indkvartering med gratis wi-fi og have med en terrasse og udsigt til en have. A great place to stay that is off the beaten path, yet has easy access to the main roadways. The check in was easy as the host met us when we arrived and gave us a tour. The parking was plentiful and parking in front, we could see the car from the room. The security was good as the town was fairly small and there was not a lot of traffic on the road out front. You enter in a hallway with rooms on the left and the breakfast room on the right. The breakfast room is nice with big picnic-style tables and a refrigerator that is also for the using. The host has also included some niceties, like soda and wine that you may purchase in the breakfast room. If you wanted to get some takeaway and bring it back, this would be a nice, quiet and roomy place for a meal. The bed was nice and comfortable and it has a TV, but we didn’t use it. The room also had a love seat and a table. The shades close easily and the windows open if you need some more air in the room. The bedding was O.K. and there were side tables with plugs on both sides. The bathroom was nice, clean and spacious and the shower was great. The host even included some nice shampoo and soap. The surroundings are nice as the property is very well kept and the outdoor space is very comfortable. I would recommend a stay here, especially if you want a great, out-of-the-way place for a good night’s sleep.

The location and view is lovely. The host is extremely nice and helpful. The amenities are excellent. Highly recommend. We only stayed for one night but wish we had more time to stay foe longer.

B&B Bosstee ligger 12 km fra Westerwolde Golf og tilbyder en have og aircondition samt indkvartering med balkon og gratis wi-fi. It was amazing! Best family weekend here. Pretty and quiet location. Breakfast was very yummy, everything what you need and if you have some special need for your breakfast it’s not problem at all. In kitchen is everything, even aluminium foil or paper towels or plastic cups/plates for children. And the bed? I never slept in something more comfy than this bed and this sheets:) Dear Gerda&Johan you are the sweetest people and couple I’ve ever seen. Thank you again so so so much<3 Family from Prague

A nice place to stay. Ideal if you want to visit Groningen or simply bike around and visit the villages along the Eem. You can park your car inside the property. It is very calm and private. Check in and check out very convenient. Bedding was comfortable. Breakfast was superb.

Loft 32 ligger i Winsum, 16 km fra Simplon og 17 km fra Martini Tower. Her er gratis wi-fi, en terrasse og aircondition. Anita our host welcomed us to this cozy loft in the middle of Winsum. Beautifully built on top of one of the best bakeries in the region. Out of which they serve a perfect breakfast! Amazing croissants, freshly baked, couldn’t be better.

B&Bie ons ligger 50 km fra Simplon og tilbyder indkvartering med en have, en terrasse og et fælles køkken. Der er gratis wi-fioveralt. This was the perfect place to stay for one night, but we would also have enjoyed a longer stay. It was easy to find, access the room and facilities were great.

Blokhut Klein Meerzicht ligger i Haren med udsigt til søen. Her er en have, en terrasse og grillfaciliteter. Der er også gratis wi-fi. Although not very big, the little house is very comfortable for two, clean, with well functioning facilities. The house is located in front of a large lawn, with small woods nearby. On a beautiful sunny day, it is extremely relaxing. In the morning, sometimes, deers could be seen at the edge of the woods. It is a fantastic place for vacation. The hosts are very friendly. They brought us a full box coffee, when we asked for more.
