The owner and her son Sergio were wonderful! Where always there, friendly, in case we needed some information. I highly recommend asking Sergio for a guided tour in the most interesting places. It was just fantastic!

A little hard to find first (if you use Waze) but it's really right on the beach... The French owner couple Vincent and Pascale were such hard workers(constantly working, caring about the guests), super hospitable and just goooood people. The place was very clean, quiet, but homey if you like that. :) The famous breakfast certainly did not disappoint me either. If you want a lonely quiet boring stay regular hotel may be better...lol, but for solo traveler like me (+ new to Panama) this was just such a very nice HOME to me. Thank you, Vincent and Pascale! I know I will return

I wanted to be immersed in nature and that's exactly what this place gave me. The most relaxing nights sleep of my year - the rainforest ambience was out of this world. You get an entire room, kitchenette, bathroom to yourself - really clean and cared for. On top of that, I also had a terrace to myself with chairs, a table and a view of two bird feeders . She provided me with fruit to feed them and ended up seeing a lot of different species of bird (and a few mammals). This place was so relaxing that I could happily spend the whole.day and night there without leaving. Not only that. It has a garden on a slope which makes an excellent night trail for wildlife spotting. There are plenty of small nature trails within 9 minutes or less.of this place, as well as a rover that I was able to climb down to and do some night time wildlife spotting. I managed to see a sloth, a glass frog, plenty of insects, possums, squirrels, tree frogs all either on the property or on the path leading to it. Very happy with my choice and I'd recommend this to friends and family for a peaceful nights stay for nature lovers. The hostess was also really accommodating - she picked me up when I arrived in El Valle de Anton, and dropped me off where I needed to be when it came time to leave, whilst also giving good advice about nearby hikes.

Located in Valle de Anton, 45 km from Santa Clara, Casa Grimaldo provides a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. We had a deluxe King overlooking the pool. Large room. Great bed. Good ac. Perfect location. Breakfast available for a fee. The gardens around the property were beautiful. We were able to have them do laundry for us (for a fee). Quiet.

Liz was an incredibly warm and welcoming host. She made us feel right at home in her charming and cozy place. Her tips for hiking in the area were invaluable, and she even recommended an excellent restaurant that we thoroughly enjoyed. Liz was always available for us, making sure we had everything we needed. Our stay was truly heartfelt, and we would have loved to stay longer if we could. Thank you, Liz, for such a wonderful experience!
