Lovely room, super breakfast and very helpful hostess. WiFi also worked reasonably well. Small challenge is climbing stairs with suitcase, but the hostess helped us. Lastly the hostess helped with storage of our suitcases since Peru rail doesn’t permit large suitcases on train to Machu Picchu. Lastly lovely cats around the house.

Casa Matara Boutique ligger i centrala Cusco, 16 minuters promenad från Wanchaqs järnvägsstation och 500 m från Santo Domingo Church. The excellent service and it was very clean and comfortable. Carmen, the host was amazing. They prepared our breakfast box for 4am. And gave us an excellent room.

The staff really make all the difference — the cleaners, reception, baggage storage team and security were always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The bathrooms were consistently spotless, which I really appreciated. Every time I walked in, the reception team and security staff always greeted me with a smile and a warm "hi".
