This place is truly special, and I would wholeheartedly recommend anyone to come and stay here. From the moment we arrived, the energy was calm, welcoming, and deeply peaceful. The location itself is incredibly serene, making it the perfect place to slow down and really experience Senegal. Ivan, the owner (Belgian), was remarkably friendly and genuine. He went out of his way to make sure we were always comfortable and well taken care of. Beyond that, he was a wonderful person to talk to about Senegalese culture — thoughtful, open, and clearly passionate about the place and its people. While the food on the menu was very good and there was a great selection of drinks, my absolute highlight was something far more meaningful: sharing Chebou Jën, the national dish, with the entire staff right on the beach. That moment was exceptional — communal, joyful, and deeply human. It was genuinely the tastiest Chebou Jën I’ve ever had, and the generosity was incredible. They made sure I had plenty of fish, and the delicious tamarind sauce. Even my girlfriend, who was initially a little hesitant, ended up loving it. Another beautiful moment was on the day of our departure, when a fantastic local musician played live music — a perfect, soulful way to say goodbye. What really stood out was the staff: playful, warm, endlessly kind. They laughed with us, took wonderful care of us, and even went out of their way to help me practise my French, turning it into something fun and memorable rather than intimidating. This is not just a place to stay — it’s a place with soul. Exceptional hospitality, generosity of spirit, and unforgettable vibes. I would absolutely return and recommend it without hesitation.

We recently stayed at Keur Ama, and from the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The attention to detail and the hospitality were truly remarkable. The room was impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the essentials. We appreciated the cozy bedding, the Wi-Fi, the Tv channels. The guest house itself is in a peaceful area, offering a much-needed retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The breakfast served was included in the price and honestly it was just what we needed (jam, coffee, Eggs, fruits, juices, Baguettes, Chocolate paste, Hot chocolate..) we also enjoyed the garden, swimming pool.. Overall, Keur Ama is perfect for anyone seeking a blend of comfort and affordability. L’établissement Villa Chanalu vous accueille à Ngaparou, à 1 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Plage de Ngaparou. Il comprend une piscine extérieure, un jardin, un salon commun et un parking privé gratuit. Le seul bémol du séjour ? Il était trop court. Un établissement irréprochable : depuis l'accueil très professionnel aux infrastructures et équipements alliant élégance et confort (ouah cette literie !), en passant bien sûr par une piscine d'une grande propreté et beauté et en concluant par un petit déjeuner bon et copieux. Si vous recherchez un cadre raffiné et intimiste avec une bonne table et un accueil chaleureuse sans être intrusif, ne cherchez plus. Vraiment, c'était parfait et nous reviendrons avec plaisir. Franchement vous êtes automatiquement ébahie en découvrant ce havre de paix. Au début j’avais quelques appréhensions car je ne trouvais aucun avis sur cet établissement, mais très rapidement j’ai découvert un paradis secret. Je vous le conseille vivement, courrez.

Le logement est tout simplement magnifique, très bien conçu, propre, accueillant, et d’un goût très sûr ! Henry nous a accueillies comme si nous étions des amies de longue date et nous a organisé une belle journée sur la plage avec une promenade en charrette des plus inattendue!

Situé à Joal-Fadiout, l’établissement Auberge LE DJEMBE possède un jardin, une plage privée, une terrasse bien exposée et une piscine. Il sert un petit-déjeuner buffet. Nice host. Effort to make you feel at home.
