Located in Chumphon, 1.8 km from Chumphon Railway Station, Calamint Residence Hotel ( คาลามิ้นท์) provides accommodation with a terrace, free private parking and a restaurant. The hotel is nice and clean. The room has a tiny kitchen, a fridge, and separate living and sleeping areas. The location is a bit outside the city center, but I knew that before booking. The Wi-Fi is also great and very high-speed.

Stayed at this homestay for a night on our way to Bangkok. Received a warm welcome from the hosts and they are really nice people! They drove us to a nearby restaurant so we could have some dinner and the restaurant owners drove us back after finishing the meal, neat! The rooms are adequately sized and come with all the necessary amenities. There is also a small minibar, alternatively there is a 7-Eleven nearby. The bed is quite hard for my taste, but we felt that nearly all other places we stayed at in Thailand had hard beds too, so it might just be a thing around here! In the morning we got a shuttle to the airport by the owner which was really nice of them! Great value for your money!

Exceptionally good staff, very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable with all facilities. Set breakfast small but high standard. Location is easy to find on the main highway close to restaurants and the beach. I realised I’d forgotten to collect my deposit on check out and after a message to the hotel they refunded very quickly to my Revolut account.

We got stranded by a scam taxi driver at Chumphon pier and booked this place as it was close and we didn’t have a lot of choices. This is place is amazing! It’s a Family run homestay and 5 minutes after booking I got a message on WhatsApp asking if we needed to be picked up and they were there within 15mins, had a bike for us to use and an amazing black Labrador who is so lovely, and the room was gorgeous!
