Staff are friendly and helpful. Bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen facilities are all clean and well equipped. Located 1min walk from the Xiding bus stop, which makes travelling anywhere between Alishan and Chiayi very easy. Also a pretty good view of the sunrise from the front porch.

Set in Dalin, 6.2 km from Nami Movement Leisure Campus, Romance Guest House offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and a tour desk. 2 mins walk to the railway station 🚉 Close to local breakfast 🍳 🥞 蛋饼，stingy tofu 臭豆腐, morning market . The friendly front desk lady rode me to the dalin night market 😋😋😋 I liked the retro, vintage design and modern experience of this guesthouse. Like entering into a Taiwanese drama studio setting. Time travel machine back into the 60s.

Offering free bikes and city view, 郵系空間民宿 is situated in Zhuqi, 10 km from Wufeng Park and 12 km from Chiayi Park. It was very clean and well maintained. The bed was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioner was very strong and the TV had many channels. The host was very warm, welcoming, diligent, friendly, and helpful. There is a great night market and many stores nearby.

Offering a terrace and mountain view, Drizzle Tea House is set in Fenchihu, 37 km from Wufeng Park and 42 km from Chiayi Tower. Their breakfast is good, and their tea ceremony is very interesting and nice, with a very knowledgeable person answering all our questions. The staff was extremely friendly and polite. I needed to go to the pharmacy in the small town. They offered to take me there and helped.

Offering a garden and mountain view, Hongpeng Coffee Station Homestay is set in Meishan, 5.8 km from Meishan Taiping Old Street and 24 km from Janfunsun Fancy World. The place is run by a family. The son helped us carry our luggages to the 2nd floor. The place has no elevator. Our room is huge with all the basic amenities. It's got a great view from the patio. On clear days one can view the sun rise there. Breakfast was delicious and healthy. It's about a 10 min drive from the Tai Ping sky ladder. There are no resturants close by, so grab your bento from the Tai Ping old street. Highly recommended.

Offering a garden and quiet street view, One Roll Stone Homestay is situated in Fanlu, 18 km from Chiayi Tower and 19 km from Lantan Reservoir. We had a lovely time at this accommodation. The views are stunning as well as the nature around it! The owners are very kind, lively and engaged.

Located within 31 km of Jiao Lung Waterfall and 34 km of Alishan Forest Railway, Alishan Hinoki B&B offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Leye. Wow!!! I will never forget this place! The stunning views overlooking mountains from our room and amazing tea farm behind the hotel!!! Also, the family who owns the place met us with green tea. We saw all ritual of tea making while they were serving us. I know, the stay is pricy, but it is completely worth it!

Boasting mountain views, Rainy Pleasure provides accommodation with patio, around 7.4 km from Meishan Taiping Old Street. The views were awesome. The sunrise in the morning was spectacular. I would here like to thank the manager for making a dinner reservation for us in a restaurant in the next town. The food there was really good and it was interesting to sample so many local dishes
