The friendly front desk lady rode me to the dalin night market 😋😋😋 I liked the retro, vintage design and modern experience of this guesthouse. Like entering into a Taiwanese drama studio setting. Time travel machine back into the 60s.

Offering free bikes and city view, 郵系空間民宿 is situated in Zhuqi, 10 km from Wufeng Park and 12 km from Chiayi Park. It was very clean and well maintained. The bed was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioner was very strong and the TV had many channels. The host was very warm, welcoming, diligent, friendly, and helpful. There is a great night market and many stores nearby.

Offering a terrace and mountain view, Drizzle Tea House is set in Fenchihu, 37 km from Wufeng Park and 42 km from Chiayi Tower. Location was incredible with gorgeous views, convenient to Shizhou via a staircase for restaurants and convenience stores and also a staircase away from hiking. The room was very clean, with AC, internet, and a comfy bed. The tea tasting was great, and the operator both speaks English and fills in with translation software. He also picked me up in Fenqihu, which made getting there easier. Breakfast was also delicious. A great stay!

Offering a garden and mountain view, Hongpeng Coffee Station Homestay is set in Meishan, 5.8 km from Meishan Taiping Old Street and 24 km from Janfunsun Fancy World. The place is run by a family. The son helped us carry our luggages to the 2nd floor. The place has no elevator. Our room is huge with all the basic amenities. It's got a great view from the patio. On clear days one can view the sun rise there. Breakfast was delicious and healthy. It's about a 10 min drive from the Tai Ping sky ladder. There are no resturants close by, so grab your bento from the Tai Ping old street. Highly recommended.

The seclusion in the mountains literally feels like you’re on a luxury retreat. The stay is in the mountains so make sure you pack your lunch and dinner ahead since they only provide breakfast. They have a kitchen or microwave for you. They also have a water dispenser. The view is phenomenal here and you get to hike if you feel like it all the way to the top of the mountain for free. They also have cats and dogs.

It's a working tea farm, so you can go up to the roof and get to the tea fields out back. We could see workers in the tea fields and then had a tea tasting with the owner. Everyone was so friendly. Breakfast was also amazing, they order it in from a local restaurant.

Boasting mountain views, Rainy Pleasure provides accommodation with patio, around 7.4 km from Meishan Taiping Old Street. Very nice place. Like paradise!
