I didn't plan to travel Sanyi but prices were just crazy during weekend in Taichung and Puli so i gave a try... and honestly it was worth it. Good and clean hostel with friendly and helpful owner. I recommend a stop here and go hike Huoyanshan mountain .

We had a lovely stay! The owner is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, with tatami mats and futons - we really liked the japanese style. There is a cafe, souvenir shop and free kimono rental. 3 min walk to the Old Street where you can find some yummy food. Highly recommend!

The couple that hosted me were wonderful. We had a lovely, long chat, and a pleasant homemade dinner. It felt like staying woth a friend or a relative. It was exactly what I had hoped for.
