The location of the lodge is absolutely fantastic on Rangiroas lagoon side (regular reef shark sightings right in front of the porch!) on a quiet side street of the island. Within walking distance, one can find a small supermarket, multiple snack-style restaurants, multiple dive shops, and, more importantly, the famous Tiputa pass (there is a high chance to see dolphins directly from the shore when boats pass!). Bicycles are also provided for longer trips. It is well furnished, including a large fridge/freezer, a watercooler and an A/C. In addition, a nice selection of basic groceries (coffee, rice, juice, cream cheese, fruits, etc.) is provided on arrival. The family is genuinely warm, welcoming and happy to help out with transfers or other requests.

Το Kahaia Lodge βρίσκεται στο Avatoru και προσφέρει δωρεάν ποδήλατα. I loved my little bungalow. It had everything I needed, AC, frig, microwave. The owners were so nice & brought me bread & fruit each morning.
