I think this is one of the best places I have ever stayed in. Definitely top 3. The place is run by a passionate couple; very nice and helpful people. It gives you a full jungle experience. It’s located at the edge of a reservoir. I still remember the warm nights with a clear night sky, surrounded by plenty of plants — many of them very exotic, at least for European folks and lots of animals, from cats, chickens and roosters to geckos. It’s peaceful and relaxing and there are almost no buildings around, which makes the experience even better. The restaurant is also run by the same couple, the food is amazing and the prices are definitely fair. I really liked the breakfasts, prepared by the owners and their staff and delivered to your door every morning. My only small recommendation would be to include more savoury options 🙂 The centre of Ao Nang is approximately 2.5 km away. You can easily walk there or get there by bike or taxi. We spent four nights in two different rooms, but what they had in common was a very nice design with strong local character — high-quality furniture, interiors, beds, and so on. The air conditioning and Wi-Fi worked perfectly, as did the anti-mosquito devices. I could go on and on listing all the superlatives. For sure, once I’m back in this region, I would love to stay there again for longer. Top of the top.

Nothing luxurious but you can’t beat the location. Excellent owners and staff! Our bungalow was front row (15 meters from the high tide mark). No AC but we never felt we needed it in November. Had 2 fans that worked well. Big bed. Reasonable shower pressure. Simple bungalow with nice porch and sliding glass doors the length of the bungalow facing the water. There are several other places to stay along this beach but none better situated and this close to the beach.

Extremely friendly and welcoming staff. You feel like part of a little community when staying here. Pool area is lovely. Smoothies in restaurant are delicious. For me, I need a room with a desk to work from, and this property provided that. They also helped my friend with transfer planning and gave help booking tours.

At the top of the slope there is a small pool where one can refresh in the green, watching the forest covered hills. The night is full of sounds of the forest. What makes this place unique is its secluded position, the careful landscaping and the hospitality of Sun, Chop and their family. Special people. The food is good and the atmosphere is cheerful and relaxed. I spent here two most enjoyable days, just walking around the resort and chilling at the lounge. This is a place where the concepts of hours and days evaporate and fade away.
