For us this was a fantastic experience. I was birdwatching through Queensland and this accommodation is in effect in the middle of a top quality wetland reserve. There are only three units in this private wetland and when we stayed we were the only people there. The units were excellent and the owners provided an excellent basket with fresh bread, eggs, coffee etc. The guests have the full use of what must have previously been the wetland reception area and it has a fully fitted, top quality kitchen. It was a surreal experience staying for three days on our own in a top quality wetland but an unforgetable one.

Such a wonderful location, we couldn't have asked for anything more perfect. We could have sat on the veranda all day watching the different birds come and go. The children loved the pool. Location wise we were within 10-15 minutes of everywhere we needed to go, yet far away enough to be in our own little area of paradise.

We adored the bath, the big deck, and all the cosy spaces to chill out, each spot made it so easy to switch off and just enjoy the moment. And all the small personal touches made everything feel extra special and thoughtful.
