Location is great for skiing in Furano or Tokachidake or even Fugakikawa. You do need a vehicle to get to any local stores, onsens and the ski hills. The kitchen is well organized and the accomodation easily suited 6 people.

This was my favorite place I stayed in all of Japan!! It felt like being in a mountain hut in the Alps - cozy, homey, and comfortable. There were lots of photos and cute quirky pictures/signs everywhere, and it just had a good feeling to it. The staff were INCREDIBLE, and were the highlight for me. They spoke basic English and I was able to have more in depth conversations with Google translate. They were so friendly and helpful - it made it sad to leave on my last day. The room was very comfortable and clean and had strong air conditioning (very important in Furano in the summer). I stayed in a room with multiple bunk-style beds and a couch, and it had a really wonderful view outside. The shared bathroom was always clean and the shower room had a small onsen in it! The location is very good if you have a car. It’s right by Farm Tomita and a 12 minute drive to Furano and a 25 minute drive to Biei. Plus of course, there’s a donkey!!

The location is amazing with very nice views from the room. There are also many beautiful places to visit nearby. The owner was very friendly and helpful and made our stay an unforgettable experience! I wish to go there again sometime soon in the future!
