I was birdwatching through Queensland and this accommodation is in effect in the middle of a top quality wetland reserve. There are only three units in this private wetland and when we stayed we were the only people there. The units were excellent and the owners provided an excellent basket with fresh bread, eggs, coffee etc. The guests have the full use of what must have previously been the wetland reception area and it has a fully fitted, top quality kitchen. It was a surreal experience staying for three days on our own in a top quality wetland but an unforgetable one.

The bed, and pillows were very comfortable. There was everything that I needed for my short stay. . Breakfast muesli and good plunger coffee.

This is a gem in the most convenient location in Cape Tribulation (a mere 3 minute drive to where the meeting spot for the Great Barrier Reef snorkeling tour was). The apartment couldn’t have been cleaner, it was spacious, it was stocked with all you need to stay in and cook or just have a coffee or two before heading out for the day. The woman who runs this place is lovely, and takes such pride in the business she runs. I would recommend this place to any person coming to Cape Tribulation!
