I stayed for a few days in a shared dorm after El Camino de La Muerte and it was great! Very easy to get to with public transportation (to/from La Paz). They give you a map of the property so you can go explore all of its trails and viewpoints. Great place to enjoy nature and relax! There are 2 pools and even a yoga/meditation room. It’s a 20 minute walk to the main town. The restaurant has really good food, portions and fair prices.

Located in Comunidad Yumani in the Isla del Sol Island region, Inti Illimani Lodge features a garden. The property has lake and garden views. A à la carte breakfast is available daily at the lodge. This was by far our best stay in Bolivia - the room is outstanding and the views are simply amazing. We got both breakfast and dinner in our room which was also very delicious. We do not understand the negative comments about the location. It is easy to reach from the closest harbour and every accomodation on the island involves some walking. You don’t get these views from being directly on the harbour

The whole island is a vibe and we had the luck to spend the night in this amazing accommodation facing the lake. The owner is lovely and very kind. Breakfast is served in a room with lake view and is really good :) the whole experience was amazing!! One little thing.. Don't expect to have boiling water for your shower though, you are on a island managed by locals and they do their best to make you live your dream experience :)

The owners are always there and ready to help you with anything you need. The views from the garden are amazing, we recommend you taking your breakfast outside hehehe. The room was veery spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. We didn't feel cold once and the blanket was very light, warm and comfy. Not your usual 40 cm stacks that weigh more than a llama that we were used to in Bolivia. The water was very hot aswell! On top of everything the food they offer is amazing!
