It was an incredible stay and the highlight of our 3 week trip to Brasil. The chalet is a short drive (or you could walk) from Alto Paraíso, a cute town with lots of restaurants, supermarkets, shops etc so is the perfect location for a stay at Chapada dos Veadeiros. The chalet overlooks the trees and mountains, and we sat and watched the monkeys and all the birds (tucans, hummingbirds, parrots and so many more). Then in the evening we sat and watched the stars from the balcony. The owner was really nice and communicative. The chalet was comfortable, had a fridge, the bathroom was great. It felt far enough away from town to feel secluded, but not so far that it was difficult to get to. It had WiFi which was an added bonus. Can't recommend enough.

It’s charming, it has a hippie cozy vibe that I love since I live in San Francisco, California. Very comfortable bed, fully functional kitchen with a spacious leaving room, air conditioner and a jacuzzi outside! Stayed during carnaval. The place is quiet and well located. Walking distance from the festivities downtown. Our host Auri was just amazing! We were greeted with a bottle of sparkling wine when we got there. Auri provided us with lots of information where to go eat, places to see and waterfalls to visit around the city. Excellent host! Highly recommend!
