And do not miss to have dinner there. The moqueca is fabulous :-)

The chalet is a treasure trove for nature lovers. The place is full of small delightful details and surrounded by nature. The chalet is just like it shows on the pictures. I had complete privacy and I was able to cook my food everyday. The wifi was strong, good enough for video meetings. The water from tap is drinkable. It's true that the chalet is by the roadside but it's not a busy road, and at night very cars pass nearby. What I hear at night, it's the sound from the wild animals, especially the howler monkeys, which you can see them during the day. The place might not be fit for those looking for the comfort of a city life, such looking for a place with A/C or indoor WC, but if you enjoy nature and looking for budget place within the vicinity of Alter do Chão, this place will do marvels.
