Amazing location right in the thick of the Kananaskis wilderness. The lodge is located remote but within short commute of Canmore. While the road is unsealed (and in some areas in rough condition during our visit) t’s generally well kept and easy driving. Views on the way in, at the lodge, and waking up to are worth it! Packed lunch was awesome too!

Offering free recreational amenities and an on-site restaurant, Jasper East Cabins is only 14 minutes’ walk from Athabasca River and overlooks the mountains. A kitchenette and free WiFi are available.... Lovely private, quiet and cosy cabins. Great patio for relaxing after a long day, comfortable bed. The electric fire was good and perfect size kitchenette. Great base for our exploring. We also loved the short walk to the next door brewery for dinner.

Do not doubt to stay in if you are going to Waterton or near by.

Banff woods lodge ligger i Canmore, 20 km fra Banff Park Museum og 20 km fra The Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies, og har bjergudsigt og gratis wi-fi. Location was great, 15 mins from Banff & close to Canmore. Plenty of free parking available. Instructions for check-in & unit procedures were easy to follow. Extremely quiet!! (the weekend we were there was the Skijoring in Banff, so the units were very busy, but there was no issue with noise)

Every room of the 3 bedroom property has en suites and the decor screams boutique demur, whilst somehow remaining practical for large families.
