Chalet Calin - Business & Familles is a recently renovated apartment in Arzier, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. The location is excellent. 30 minutes outside Geneve in the direction of Lausanne. There are 3 bedrooms all with excellent beds and good quality bedding. The kitchen is very well equipped with all you require for a comfortable stay. There is a air fryer and microwave/ grill over, conduction hob and washing machine. Chris and Gioia provide a most welcome welcome pack with water, milk butter, bread and jam and a bottle of local wine. The toilet and shower room are separate which is useful for a family of 4, and there is a sauna in the shower room, which we used once and regretted not using more! The property also has a hot tub which is an awesome way to relax after a hard day's sight seeing. There is also another surprise in the property in the form of a table that converts into a pool table or table tennis table. This was also used to its full advantage. The Denner supermarket is 5 min walk away and has everything you need, meat and veg. milk etc. There was no need to go to another Supermarket but there are bigger supermarkets in Gland or Nyon which are both about 15 in away by car. There is a lovely boulerangerie 5 mins walk away as well for pastries and fresh bread. There is a pizza takeaway at the bottom of the road which makes delicious pizza. The other villages around have plenty of restaurants if you want to eat out. Prices are similar to Ireland for eating out and for groceries, remember to add the exchange rate. We used Revolut and bought CHF with no fees. The location is excellent for exploring the area around Lake Geneva. Chris and Gioia are excellent hosts, available for advice and ideas for things to do in the area. friendly and fun.

Grand Chalet d'Architecte is a recently renovated villa in Saint-Cergue, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. Great architecture, and practical to cook and avoid having to eat at restaurants all day. Very aesthetically pleasing as well.

A recently renovated guest house set in Arzier, Beautiful studio - private garden, EV, breakfast - Chalet Hug studio features a garden. This is a small and very cozy studio, located on the ground floor of a large chalet. Inside there was absolutely everything for a comfortable stay of my parents during the week. Very clean and, what is important, cool even in such a hot summer as this. The hosts are incredibly hospitable. They met us personally, were ready to help with any issue. Breakfasts are croissants with local natural jams, butter, milk and other things. My parents were very pleased!

Set in Chardonne and only 13 km from Train station Montreux, Le Petit Observatoire offers accommodation with lake views, free WiFi and free private parking. Everything was great: very clean house, great views and very close to public transport (funicular). The host is exceptional: great communication and also left us some lovely treats upon arrival :)
