I had a wonderful stay in Zhangjiajie! The location was absolutely perfect, offering a clear and stunning view of Tianmen Mountain. The room itself was beautiful, well-appointed, and equipped with all the amenities you could need. The hosts were incredibly kind and generous, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area! The location was not only quiet and peaceful, overlooking a beautiful landscape, but also very convenient. It was just a short distance from the Tianmen Mountain cable car, making it easy to explore the area. The airport and train station were also easily accessible, which made travelling to and from the property very simple. It’s the perfect balance of tranquillity and convenience. Our hosts, David and his wife, were exceptionally kind and generous. They made us feel truly welcome from the start and went above and beyond to make our stay special. They even shared their Autumn Festival celebration with us, prepared a lovely breakfast, and thoughtfully arranged a taxi for our departure. Their home was beautiful, and their warm hospitality made the entire stay incredibly pleasant, leaving us with wonderful and lasting memories.

Waking up to misty green peaks through the floor-to-ceiling windows was magical. The hosts are lovely—they prepared a hand-drawn map and gave us detailed local tips. The room is simple and cosy, with an electric blanket that kept us toasty. Dinner was a highlight: fern stir-fry with smoked bacon cooked over firewood, and even simple lotus root was deliciously crisp. Swinging in the hammock under the stars was pure bliss. A perfect, peaceful escape—would definitely recommend to mates visiting Zhangjiajie!
