We only stayed one night, but would have loved to stay much longer. The house has everything we needed and even more.

I am travelling a lot, and I can say that this was the best I have been. The room," 2 floors shack" was beautiful and well maintained. the view from the terrace was extraordinary, the gardening and surroundings were amazing. The staff was very helpful, (they did with me the booking for the Poas Volcano). Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were excellent. Heating in the evening with wood pieces in the fire place was both romantic and practical experience.

There's fantastic wildlife within the grounds, and the fruit feeders are replenished several times a day, providing fantastic opportunities to see toucans, tanagers and many other birds, reptiles and mammals. The guided wildlife and birding tours were very educational. The rooms were large, well-appointed and comfortable.

Very welcoming hosts. The Cabin was really clean and the outdoor kitchen was pretty cool. The beds were very comfortable. There was an information booklet in the cabin which had an amazing range of activities, which you can book with the hosts.
