We liked everything and wished we could have stayed longer... The wooden houses are great, huge and contain everyting you may need. Beach is close. Excellent restaurant Selvin as well. Birds and sloths around. You are in paradise and do not want to leave.

Fernando e’ stato super accogliente ed e’ molto preparato e rispettoso dell’ambiente e della biodiversita’. Abbiamo anche effettuato un tour notturno, di cui siamo molto soddisfatti. Inoltre ogni mattina sono previste colazioni con prodotti locali, da loro coltivati! Grazie!

We liked everything and were very happy with our choice. The little house in the middle of the forest/jungle was amazing. It was so quiet. Only at 4 am the hawley monkeys were waking us up with their funny voices. Bryan recommend us a good place to eat dinners at Selvin in Punta Uva and we were in love in that place too. Having a car really helps. You can visit all these playas and a must see that is Cahuita NP.

The houses are built inside the stretch of a beautiful selva, with direct access to the pristine, unspoiled beach. We were surrounded by sounds and sightings of wildlife on our walks to and from the beach, and when enjoying our time at the house. The love, attention and effort that goes into the maintenance of this amazing place is truly incredible. Everything works perfectly, from showers to kitchen utilities and all other comforts. Marisol took great care of us and helped us to spot sloths, toucans and howler monkeys. One of our closest wildlife encounters on the trip also took place at Congo Bongo. Following Marisol’s recommendation, we had two dinners at the local restaurant Mista Cook, it was delicious. Muchas gracias, we will be back!

La Playa Negra Guesthouse si trova a Cahuita, proprio di fronte alla spiaggia. Wonderful property and owners. A garden oasis. Steps from the beach and a quiet road. 10 min walk to a number of restaurants and good grocery store. We had a cabin and it was wonderful and fully equipped. Great pool, quiet garden, lots of animals. Marise very responsive and offered helpful advice. We’re returning!
