Cabin was clean and warm. Location was good as many things to do within driving distance. Would definitely recommend it. Perfect if you're looking for somewhere to base yourself. Going up ladder for top bed good for older kids.

It was very convenient to walk into town (there is a back way, which is easy to walk). The master bed was incredibly comfortable. Thanks for having blankets on the couch to cozy up with.

A recently renovated holiday home located in Ballater, Lewis Lodge - Stunning & Exclusive Luxury Home in the Heart of Ballater, Royal Deeside features a garden. Lovely interiors, good quality oven etc. comfortable beds, good showers. Nice garden. Great location and great communication from the owner - she even phoned to say we’d left keys behind.

Orchid lodge features a hot tub and free private parking, and is within 34 km of Castle Menzies and 7.2 km of Blair Castle. We had a wonderful (though unfortunately far too short) stay at this lovely holiday home at the gateway to the Scottish Highlands. The view is absolutely stunning – and enjoying it from the hot tub was a real highlight! There’s a peaceful sheep herd grazing right next door, which made the experience even more special and relaxing. We visited the Falls of Bruar and Loch Tummel during our stay – both are close by and well worth seeing. Sadly, we only stayed for one night, but we would have loved to stay longer. It's the perfect place to unwind and take in the beauty of nature. Highly recommended!
