The host left a fresh bottle of milk and orange juice which was very much appreciated. The check in and check out was quick and easy without having to actually meet anybody. Everything was just brilliant!

Reindeer Lodge at The Cotswold Reindeer Herd, que tiene vistas al jardín, ofrece alojamiento con terraza y balcón a unos 28 km de Parque Lydiard. The bed was very comfortable and spacious. The fireplace was excellent and supplies were given to light it. It was really conveniently located both for seeing the reindeer, and also for travelling into Cirencester for the Christmas market.

The property enjoys a beautiful, peaceful setting with water views all around. I know this area well and particularly like the Isis and Windrush spots, and this lodge is a standout. As the owner notes, it isn’t a “hotel-neutral” stay—it’s a true home. My friend and I came for a few days to completely switch off and it delivered: tranquil, scenic, and blissfully quiet. The lodge is welcoming and thoughtfully stocked with everything you might need. It’s not modern or ultra-contemporary, but that’s part of its charm. We loved our stay and hope to return early next year.

Amazing lodge on a nice lakeside park with good facilities. Everything was perfect at the lodge - well equipped and tastefully furnished, plenty of space, comfy beds, very clean and in good condition. It was perfect for our stay with a couple of other families over New Year. One of the best lodges we’ve ever stayed at. Good facilities on site including swimming pool, spa and nice restaurant. Walking distance to a couple of nice country pubs. Would definitely stay again.
