I had the pleasure of staying at Winterfell Chalet during my last day in Mestia, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. As someone who has visited the area for the past four years and stayed in various hotels and guesthouses, I can confidently say that Winterfell Chalet is a cut above the rest. While there are certainly areas where the chalet could improve, small details and the service, I have no doubt that the team at Winterfell is dedicated to continually improving their guests' experience. And that's why I'm giving them a perfect score of 10. And most likely I will be back next year!

It was the best stay we had in georgia. They welcomed us with a nice cold homemade wine. The host gave us tips on where to go locally, and we ended up in the sulfur waterfall/river, which was amazing. The room was so cute, and all the animals walking around as well. Breakfast was also amazing. Can't say anything bad about this place!

It’s a very comfortable property with everything you need with a stunning view on the mountains. It’s quiet at night, which is unusual for Georgia and you have a lot of privacy. We really enjoyed a bath in the cabin after a long hike. It is situated on the outskirts of Mestia so you may need a taxi or a car. We had a hire car and could park it at the back of the property

We can say that it is worth coming to Mestia and staying here! The view in front of the chalet is superb! River, mountain, blue sky, and bridge are just one step out of the living room. Rooms are clean and comfy. The owner and father are helpful and kind. Thank you so much for helping us during the stay. Town can be reach by the stairs next to the chalet. It is very convenient. It is quite muddy on the road, which entries the chalet. If comes here by 4WD, there will be no problem.

The hosts were exceptionally helpful and responsive to any request. The cottage is brand new and fully equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay.

A beautiful and brand-new house, everything is spotlessly clean and thoughtfully arranged for a comfortable stay. The view from the window is absolutely stunning, overlooking the mountains and a lovely riverside area. The surrounding territory is peaceful and well-maintained. Inside, the house has everything you might need for a relaxing and pleasant stay. Would definitely recommend!

But what made it truly special was the lovely family who hosted us — so warm, generous, and welcoming. We felt like part of their home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, nature, and genuine Georgian hospitality.

The rooms and the beds were comfortable. Nice views from the windows. The first floor was nice and the kitchen and bathroom were well equipped. The washing machine was super handy. The hosts were very friendly and responsive. They helped with advice and with finding drivers for day walks. The location is quiet but close to the town center. Many cafes, restaurants and shops nearby. Overall, a great experience and we will definitely stay again. Note that the approach should be through a normal street, if it's too narrow, you need to approach the cottage from another side.
