The property was very very clean and well equipped kitchen and bathroom. It is also wheel chair friendly - which is so nice and so rare to see with vacation homes. The host was easy to communicate with. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful chalet, even though the hot tub was not available during the season ww went in, we did not miss it :) The surrounding rustic village was great for walks with our dog. Very close to bakeries and supermarkets yet a remote location feel.

Ambience - very clean, lovely and spacious log cabin in the woods with modern conveniences including coffee maker for beans, Weber grill, etc. Pleasantly surprised to find that the host had the fire place going before our arrival, and a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge. 2. All bedrooms were ensuite, and there was another bathroom downstairs. 3. Hot water in all showers were reliable and adequate. 4. Big dining tables both indoors and outdoors. Perfect for family to gather around.

The location is great. It's remote enough to give you the peace and quiet you want from a vacation, yet still accessible enough to go on day trips. The cabin is very well built and tastefully decorated. The bed upstairs is super comfortable. The outdoor space is huge, and nicely organized. We especially enjoyed the swings. There is an air conditioning unit upstairs which easily cools the entire cabin when used smartly. We had almost everything we needed and the host brought what was missing in the first 2 days. For a couple of nights or a long weekend, it's a great choice.
