This was a one bedroom lodge with its own deck overlooking the jungle and beach. It was rustic but v well appointed - we loved the geckos in the roof, and watching fireflies at night. Hibiscus beach is beautiful and a 10 min walk away is a fantastic cafe where you can eat in the beach and watch the sun set.

L’établissement Hawun Valley Kiulu comprend un bain à remous et la climatisation. Didn’t expect the room come with little pantry with ricecooker, water kettle, and stove to cook. Plates, cups and utensil for cooking also provided. But they only allow Halal food ya. There is fridge also. Room is very clean and love the sweet pink color room😆 pool is not too deep and have lovely warm temperature. This place is well maintain.

L’hébergement Jesselton Quay by Miraton Lodge 2 se situe à Kota Kinabalu, à seulement 1,5 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Marché Filipino. The room was clean. It has very beautiful view of half sea, half forest on level 30. The host was responsive, reply quick message made the communication easy. It located in a very good location, easy to get around and very close to the jetty to the islands.

I never make time for reviews but this place deserves it. I booked 1 night, stayed 3, wish I could live there...Amazing location, beautiful quiet beach (and ok with beach campfires), massive portions of delicious homemade food at super reasonable price (easily accommodated vegetarian but would love to serve you fresh seafood), comfy and safe place (solo female traveller here and felt 100% comfortable at all times), many activities depending on your wishes. One of the best snorkelling locations I've ever seen (Belize has nothing compared to Banggi island!!). Best of all, I felt treated as a guest/friend rather than a source of cash. Host Romeo really went out of his way to make me happy. Cannot say enough good things....just go for yourself and you will be amazed

The lodge is impressively clean, well-maintained, and full of character. The rooms are spacious, freshly renovated, and each comes with its own private bathroom. We stayed in the Double Room, which was very comfortable and equipped with a fan—perfect for keeping cool at night. All the essentials are available on-site, including kayak and snorkeling gear rentals, which made exploring the area super convenient. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the food. Sook Peng, Fred’s wife, is not only an incredible cook but also a truly warm and welcoming person. Sharing meals with her was a joy, and her cooking made every meal memorable. There are also cozy hammocks for relaxing, and the peaceful atmosphere made it easy to unwind. We couldn't recommend this place more highly—it's a rare gem built with heart and purpose. Oh, I was almost forgetting, both land and transport are organized by the Fred and Sook Peng and everything went super smooth! Terima kasih Fred and Sook Peng!

Situé au sommet d'une colline de 100 mètres surplombant la réserve forestière de Kinabatangan, l'établissement The Last Frontier Boutique Resort se trouve à Bilit, à 2 minutes de route du magnifique... L'emplacement, qu'on a adoré et détesté en même temps. Le logement est en haut d'une colline entourée par la forêt avec une vue incroyable mais le prix à payer c'est les 600 marches pour y parvenir et qui vous rappelleront qu'il fait 31 degrés. La chambre était très confortable avec de l'eau chaude et une excellente literie. Les repas étaient excellents, mention spéciale pour les banana pancakes chantilly. Le personnel était véritablement aidant, tout particulièrement Jason qui a donné énormément de conseils à tous ceux présents pour la suite de leur voyage. Les activités étaient au top, nous avons vu énormément d'animaux.

Situé à Kinabatangan (Sabah), l’établissement Borneo Jungle Adventure comprend une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite et un parking privé gratuit. Durant mon séjour, j’ai était très bien accueilli, l’équipe est au petit soins. Je me suis senti comme à la maison rapidement. La nourriture est très qualitative, il y’a plusieurs options. Il faut cependant faire attention aux singes qui aiment venir provoquer lors du petit déjeuner. La chambre est propre, fonctionnelle, l’endroit est très calme. En ce que concerne les activités, j’ai participé à plusieurs croisières dont l’une de nuit, j’ai eu la chance d’observer une faune extrêmement riche et variée. La rivière de Kinabatangan est pleine de ressources ! Mention spéciale aux deux guides : les yeux persans de Kai pour trouver les animaux et la précision des explications de Mica. Ils ont permis de rendre cette expérience encore plus mémorable. L’équipe est réellement gentille. Je recommande fortement cet endroit.
