Barefoot Luxury at the Tip of Borneo ligger i Kudat i regionen Sabah, nära Bawang Jamal-stranden, och erbjuder boende med gratis privat parkering. This was a one bedroom lodge with its own deck overlooking the jungle and beach. It was rustic but v well appointed - we loved the geckos in the roof, and watching fireflies at night. Hibiscus beach is beautiful and a 10 min walk away is a fantastic cafe where you can eat in the beach and watch the sun set.

The location of the homestay is the best attraction. The beach is really right infront of the homestay and we can see the beach from the veranda of the homestay. In the morning, we practically have the beach to ourselves. During the night, we experienced a few blackouts. I think this is not the owner's fault. However, the owner provided us with portable solar lamp for our use in the house, which helped a lot. We really enjoyed our stay at this homestay and hoped we can come back another time.

Hawun Valley Kiulu erbjuder luftkonditionerat boende med ett bubbelbad i Tamparuli, 39 km från Filipino Market Sabah, 34 km från Likas City Mosque och 39 km från Sabah State Museum & Heritage Village.... Didn’t expect the room come with little pantry with ricecooker, water kettle, and stove to cook. Plates, cups and utensil for cooking also provided. But they only allow Halal food ya. There is fridge also. Room is very clean and love the sweet pink color room😆 pool is not too deep and have lovely warm temperature. This place is well maintain.

The room was clean. It has very beautiful view of half sea, half forest on level 30. The host was responsive, reply quick message made the communication easy. It located in a very good location, easy to get around and very close to the jetty to the islands.

Best location surrounded by nature! The Last Frontier Boutique Resort ligger på en 100 meter hög kulle med utsikt över Kinabatangan Forest Reserve i Bilit, 2 timmars bilresa från den vackra Sandakan. This is not just a ‘business’, it is a passion! Jason and Gert are sharing a piece of the rainforest to help travelers experience wildlife, insects and plants in their natural habitat. Jason and Gert have created a safe and relaxing environment for all guests to experience true nature. The cabin has wood walls and floors - simple design and furnishings, and so comfortable. There are 2 chairs on the balcony, outside of each room, to enjoy the local flora and fauna. The daily schedule is designed for 2 nights, but we wanted some additional quiet time in the jungle so stayed for 4 nights. Jason made sure that we received different meals for lunch and dinner - he really works to make all meals special! The banana pancakes with homemade caramel sauce is phenomenal! The dining room (with ceiling fans) is also a place that you can hang out - have a coffee, read, play cards, visit and/or observe your surroundings. There is always a pitcher of cold and refreshing water waiting for you. There is a terrace off the dining room (no fans) with benches and small tables - great to look out over the landscape. We went on an amazing evening boat cruise every evening (included in the package). The optional sunrise river cruise starts at 5:30 am - beautiful and quiet (additional small fee). During our cruises, our guide/captain Rodel helped us find Pygmy elephants, crocodiles, hornbills, kingfishers, Silver Leaf monkeys, Proboscis monkeys and macaque monkeys. We absolutely loved our time on the Kinabatangan River! Jason, Gert and staff are so calm, friendly and informative. A once in a lifetime experience/place to enjoy nature and learn about/observe amazing Borneo animals in the wild!

Bayu Senja Lodge ligger i Kundasang och erbjuder utsikt över trädgården, gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering. Extremely helpful staff members - did our washing for us with a rapid turn around, moved our suitcases to our new room on the second night, helped us with transport to the national park etc. Clean rooms with efficient fan and comfortable beds. Free bottled water provided, with beautiful views of sunset from kitchen and terrace. Would absolutely recommend to anyone!

Borneo Jungle Adventure ligger i Kinabatangan i regionen Sabah och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering. Så spännande att bo i djungeln! Inga bilvägar går hit, man blir hämtad med båt och tillbringar stora delar av dagen på floden. Djur hälsar på, apor kommer nära och det är magiskt att färdas på vattnet och in i djuren och naturens värld. Personalen var så trevlig och tillmötesgående och vår guide Marc gjorde resan oförglömlig. Vi såg elefanterna bara ett par meter bort från båten. Otroligt god mat!
