After a few steps you can have a beautiful view and it's silent. The food is freshly cooked whenever you ask for it with ingredients from their garden. Prices for food and transfer were absolutely fair. The room was clean, aircondition working good ;) The owners are super nice and helpful with everything. Very easy communication via whatsapp. Thank you for everything!!! It was amazing :)))))

Merbabu mägi on 42 km kaugusel.... The place is very well maintained and has a very nice view. On top of that, the staff are very helpful and kind. It was very easy to arrange anything you want, from going to the city, renting motorbike and bbq. The bbq you don’t have to buy any meat as it will be prepared.

Weather is nice, if you bring enough warm clothing and checked the weather at Lembang. Fire pit (can play fire!), outdoor scenery viewing seats, cute dogs, cute cats coffee trees and a general homey vibe stay. Breakfast was provided. Has a coffee machine and 2 sets of V60 dripper to make pour over coffees. Zaky helped me send my clothing ~3kg to the laundry at the nearest township! Great hospitality from Zaky 🙏🏻

This inner city villa is on a relatively quiet street but not far to drive to Malang's central routes and places. Villa presents a delightful aspect on arrival with attractive front garden. Based around an interior courtyard, the pool is of a good size and depth, and there are 5 separate bedrooms each with their own bathroom sleeping 10 in total. A basic kitchen, traditional carved wood furniture and a functioning pool table complete the picture. Daily cleaning and maintenance visit.

We stayed here to visit Tumpak Sewu, but gave ourselves an extra day. We’re so glad we did this as we had the best day of our trip - we visited Kapas Biru waterfall (a hidden gem with not many tourists, and a steep but manageable walk down/up). Then we mentioned at reception that we wanted to see Mount Semeru. The wonderful Suzan who works at Artha Cottages took us there herself! We took mopeds and she took us to three different spots and we watched the sunset behind the volcano - and Suzan took lots of photos for us on her camera which was so special! We’ve talked about this moment weeks after the holiday as the kindness of Suzan to do this really meant a lot to us. The food in the restaurant was nice and they let me have meals without the meat in as I’m a vegetarian. We also ate a few times at a local Warung (Selera Nusantara) which was delicious and had a big menu. The rooms had everything we needed, the pool was amazing after hiking, the trips were 10/10, but the people at Artha Cottages made it.
