Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a pool with a view, pool view and a balcony, Pondok Is Oke Bamboo Lodge is set in Licin. Very calm little hotel in the best location in the village. It is run by a young, friendly couple who speak English and take great care of both the guests and the garden. A very comfortable large bed, hot shower, and a great pool make it a perfect place to relax and enjoy clean, healthy food. The rooms are exactly like in the photos!! Breakfast was freshly prepared just for me at my preferred time, using fruit from the garden and local products, and served at a cute little café in the garden of the property. There is also a menu available, with everything freshly made from local ingredients. The couple are also certified guides and can organize any excursion you need, especially accompanying guests on a climb of Mount Ijen. They arranged everything for me with a smile and made my stay very enjoyable and relaxing. It is a small paradise, and if you reserve both rooms, you can have the whole place to yourselves. I will definitely be going back with friends.

Set in Prampelan, 35 km from Borobudur Temple, Verandah Glamping Villa Mangli offers accommodation with a garden, free WiFi, room service, and a 24-hour front desk. The place is very well maintained and has a very nice view. On top of that, the staff are very helpful and kind. It was very easy to arrange anything you want, from going to the city, renting motorbike and bbq. The bbq you don’t have to buy any meat as it will be prepared.

I’m a solo traveler and when Zaky opened me the door of the house I immediately felt at home. Such a good feeling after my long trip accross Indonesia. If I had the posibility I would definitely stay at least 1 week more. This place is so incredible. I bring back some wonderful memories to France!

The room is clean, simple and rather small, but with huge windows. The hotel provides catering services from nearby restaurants. The staff is helpful, but does not speak English, so the translator is useful. Perfect place for quiet days on the seaside. We also enjoyed the infinity pool much!
