Teresa's Cottage queda aproximadamente a 23 km de Plaza Eyre y ofrece alojamiento con vista al jardín, terraza y cafetera. Wish we could have met Bill in person as very responsive and friendly on the phone. We were sorry we missed his visit and appreciated his nice note. The cottage was fully equipped and it was great to find scones awaiting us and some other sundries on a prettily laid table for breakfast the next day. Nice layout for two couples traveling together, even with a single bathroom. We enjoyed the fire and comfortable living area and well equipped kitchen. Had a fabulous dinner at the recommended Moran's. The country setting (including nearby donkeys!), with walks out the door, suited us and was centrally located to all we came for (such as the Cliffs of Moher by sea, the Burrens, St. Kilmacduagh, Leamaneh Castle, Ballyvaughan, Maumturk Mtns, the 12 Bens, Galway, Kylemore Abbey, Roundstone, Clifden). In wild and wooly weather, it was very good to head "home" to cozy lodgings.

Even though the place is a bit hidden, the directions provided and signs made it very easy to find the pod. We arrived quite late but it was no problem since we could let ourselves into the pod. It was incredibly clean and well-equipped. It is such a cozy, quiet and charming place to stay, highly recommend it!

This was easily the largest room I've ever encountered in my many Ireland visits. It was also among the nicest and most comfortable. The room was modern, pristinely clean, and had a view overlooking Keel Strand that would be difficult to beat. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming and gave us great recommendations on dinner and exploration options. The bed was perfectly comfortable, and the room included sitting chairs, an electric kettle with supplies, and other little treats. Towels were included and the bathroom had shampoo and shower gel provided. Communication with the host was great.
