Located in the core zone of Kanha National Park where guests can experience prime tiger wilderness, Banjaar Tola, Kanha National Park offers a garden and outdoor pool. Lovely welcoming staff and guide amazing 'tent' we stayed in all possible facilities so deep in the jungle. The food was great and created by a superb chef. The manager was extremely helpful and adapted to our needs very quickly.With all inclusive we are used to a menu of choices we were somewhat perplexed when the choice was curry or curry however the chef when asked prepared anything we asked for if he had the ingredients the result was magic.

We were travelling from Mumbai to Bhopal and decided to halt in Maheshwar, choosing Labbooz almost by chance after finding it on Booking.com. It turned out to be an excellent decision. We reached very late at night and had requested that some food be kept aside for us. Even though the restaurant had closed, the watchman, Naren Singh, opened it for us and served us a hot meal. That gesture alone set the tone for the stay. The location is exceptional. The rooms are built into the original fort structure, right beside the ancient gate. The stone-walled, gothic-style rooms retain the character of the fort, while the interiors have been tastefully upgraded for comfort. The café is one of the strongest highlights. The menu is simple but thoughtfully curated, and the food was consistently good. With different dietary preferences in our family, we still found enough options for everyone. The staff deserves special mention. Nilesh, who served us during most of our meals, was attentive, warm, and quick to suggest dishes based on what we like. His cheerful nature makes the experience even better. Ashutosh was equally helpful, guiding us on what to see and do in Maheshwar - his recommendations were spot on. The managers were efficient and supportive throughout. Watchment during the day (Manohar) was also well-mannered. A genuinely welcoming place with great food, unique rooms, and an outstanding team. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Maheshwar.
