Walid is truly the best host. He took great care of us during our stay, fed us amazing food, and even showed us to a beautiful trail to hike from his place, following the ridge around the canyon. We loved meeting his sons and wife, and Shadi and Ahmed had us laughing all evening. So nice to have an at-home stay coming from the large unfamiliar hotels in Petra! And truly one of the best dinner and breakfasts we’ve had during our stay in Jordan. I included a picture of the sunset from the house and from the gorgeous trail Walid showed us.

The rooms have an amazing view and are very comfortable. The staff and owner were friendly, respectful and helpful. The location is close to some spectacular hiking trails. I highly recommend this place!
