The property was so special - its location amongst the forest trees covered in snow, the design of the property and its amenities were all amazing. Sitting in the onsen whilst it snowed outside will be a memory for life. The concierge team were so helpful organizing restaurant bookings, ski lessons, hire cars and shifting our ski gear around Japan.

Everything is well-maintained and clean. We visited during winter because we really wanted to try skiing. The owners helped us find our way around, from where to rent gears and equipment to suitable skiing spots for beginners. They also picked us up at the Happo Terminal Bus Station for free, and contacting them was not an issue because they ensured they would be on time. I would also like to mention the mini library section. Although we can't read in Japanese, we enjoyed it and were able to find our favorite Japanese anime comics. Additionally, we opted for breakfast, and it was really delicious and healthy! Every day, they served us with a different set of meals.

We have a variety of beautiful and well appointed chalets, located in prime areas centered around the Happo ski resort in Hakuba. Location is great to walk to Happo One slopes. However, not very walkable to restaurants etc. Probably need a car or hire taxi . Staff communication was excellent. The villa has everything we need for a week stay. Rooms are spacious and functional.

A 10-minute walk from Happo One Ski Resort, guests at Log Cottage Epoch can rent out an entire cottage. Each spacious cottage comes with free Wi-Fi and includes a kitchen and a living room. The log cottage is a perfect find. The host was amazing, he picked us up for the train station and took us to the ski lifts in the morning. Such great hosts. Location was beautiful and the log itself was lovely and clean. We could highly recommend you staying here. Thank you

Huset låg vid första stoppet på shuttlebussen som tog oss till skidbacken = man fick alltid plats! Stort plus att man kunde åka skidor tillbaka till boendet från Hakuba Goryu backen. Koki och hans fru skjutsade och hämtade oss, en stort plus. Huset var väldigt vackert.

Pension Marionette ligger i Hakuba i regionen Nagano, nära Happo One skidort och Hakuba–Happo bussterminal, och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering. The location was awesome, quiet and tucked away but 30 seconds to Main Street echoland. The downstairs common area was soothing and relaxing, warm and inviting. I can’t say enough about Matsua and his hospitality and willingness to help. I HIGHLY suggest Pension Marrionette for several reasons. I’m solo but had two beds and upstairs loft that was either for morning relaxing yoga or to house another two individuals. I hope I return and can enjoy the Marionette again soon.
