Beautiful retreat house with lovely amenities and wonderful staff. My room was very cozy and had a comfortable futon, with the most wonderful quilt/comforter I've ever used! I appreciated the provided tea & coffee bar, and enjoyed the relaxing Buddha room with tatami floors. I was sent a message by staff before my arrival, and they made sure my check-in was easy. I would love to book a longer stay next time to fully enjoy the space!

Mountain Home Lodge in Deer Park asub Nara pargipiirkonnas, Nara jaamast 3,3 km ja Iwafune pühamust 20 km kaugusel. Kogu majutusasutuses on tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Everything was perfect and as expected. Neat and clean also very close to a lot of tourist stops.

Situated 23 km from Kumanoshi Kiwakozan Museum in Shingu, Koguchi Village by WhyKumano features accommodation with air conditioning and free WiFi. A buffet breakfast is available at the lodge. The host, Bon (hope I spell that right) has been very careful with every inside detail; being welcomed with jazz music in a lovely, wood smelling place you come at ease as soon as you step inside. The dinner and breakfast were delicious and meticulously prepared. The bed was comfortable with an amazing view. Slept like a baby. Thank you Bon for helping me with fixing my hiking sticks! strong arms :) The whole place was very neat. One could use the washing machine as well, but there was no dryer. Next time I'll stay 2 nights.

Amazing stay! We had the whole place to ourselves, and the village is incredibly peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The common areas are great and easy to use, adding to the comfort. Excellent value for the price. Highly recommended!

In the Minami Ward district of Kyoto, close to Sanjusangen-do Temple, 至の宿-京都南 Traditional Machiya Guesthouse features free WiFi and a washing machine. Close to the Kyoto station. Quiet neighbourhood. Lovely stand alone house with little garden and hot bath.

ROKKONOMAD asub Kobe Nada Wardi piirkonnas, Rokko mäest 5,7 km, Maya mäest 8,3 km ja Hiina moodsa kunsti Emba muuseumist 12 km kaugusel. The house is very clean and spacious.the view is amazing.the staff is so very helpful and even provide laundry service.my family had an episode of getting drenched from head to toe from getting caught in heavy rain but they helped us do the laundry and we used the furnace to dry our drenched shoes and coats.the skylight is also a highlight as we slept under the moonlight.highly recommended.there's not enough stars to give for their exceptional hospitality.the facilities are complete with all kitchen equipments,towels, cleaning products,they will also provide food if you need.

Aiaga Taraichitei asub Takashimas, 28 km kaugusel Kehi Jingu pühamust, 34 km kaugusel Omimaiko rannast ja 40 km kaugusel Obama jaamast. It is an old style house, so as long as you aren't expecting Western/modern comforts, it's fantastic! My daughter called it the Totoro house. You will sleep on Japanese futons that you lay out on the tatami mats - if you've never slept on a futon it might feel uncomfortable/hard compared to Western beds. You will eat sitting on the tatami mats, but there are a couple of small Western chairs if sitting on the floor is difficut. The bathroom is Japanese style with the toilet in one section, the sink/vanity in a second section and the shower with separate furo (deep bathtub for soaking after washing in the shower) in the third section. It was not the most modern but all clean and more spacious than the Western hotel bathrooms we had other parts of Japan! There is a TV, wifi worked great and a bluetooth speaker to play music. There aren't a lot of "tourist" attractions nearby but it you want serenity this hits the spot - a few steps away has you walking among farming fields and the house is also close to the forest with a little stream running along side the road making for a peaceful but easy walk up the mountain. The gohan (rice) cooked in the old style stove was the best we ate our entire trip! Wish we had bought some of the local rice. It can get a little smoky when dinner is being cooked but my mild asthma was fine. The host, Hiro, is amazing, super accomodating and friendly, he introduced us to his shiba inu (dog) and his duck, and even though we didn't ask ahead, he prepped for us to make tofu - this experience was an extra fee but totally worth it! During the winter you can also request mochitsuki (pounding rice into mochi) and summer/fall you can make noodles (can't remember if he said soba, ramen or udon). Hiro's English is limited, but he's so engaging, we asked him to eat dinner with us and my daughter loved that...he has such good energy!
