Located in Hakuba, 12 km from Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area, Hakuba Amber Resort by Jade Group offers accommodation with a hot tub. Enjoyed the house for summer for a big group and had a wonderful time! Staff was always quick/available to answer your questions or come by should you needed something. Sauna/onsen was definitely a highlight, along with the ready-to-go BBQ set (extra cost). Would love to come again!

Situated in Hakuba, Sakka Sanso offers accommodation with a terrace or a balcony, free WiFi and flat-screen TV, as well as a garden and a shared lounge. I would absolutely stay here again. Nothing fancy but everything was comfortable and clean. We had dinner in the lodge and it was very handy as finding restaurant availability in Hakuba can be a challenge during ski season. Most importantly the lady at the front desk was so nice and helpful. 2 out of our 4 snowboard bags went missing by our luggage delivery service. She made phone calls and got it all sorted. She was very gracious and worked through the language barrier. Above and beyond service!

Le Bocage – Hakuba Echoland Chalets are situated in Echoland, a popular nightlife site where more than 30 bars and restaurants can be found. The property offers free in-room WiFi and on-site parking. This house was amazing and provided very clear and easy to use instructions on entry. It was very big and was nice and warm inside after a cold day in the snow. It is a short 5 minute drive from most of the ski slopes which were a great experience. Good location as there are heaps of restaurants within walking distance

Set in Chino, ノマの森 Nomanomori B&B offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a terrace and a bar. The hosts are kind and thoughtful and gave us very good advice for dinner locally and for our next destination. Best of all, the breakfast was delicious and kept us going all day. Our room was small, but we knew that when we booked so we were not bothered by that in any way. Aovely way to break up the trip from Tokyo to Kamikochi if you have a car and it is worth a visit just for the sake of being there.

Shiga Kogen Lodge features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Yamanouchi, 20 km from Jigokudani Monkey Park. There is a seating and a dining area in all units. Fantastic food, incredible hospitality from the hosts, great snow! A unique experience!

A 10-minute drive from Hakuba Happo-One Winter Ski Resort, Pension Tomato offers spacious Western-style rooms with a loft area. Lovely place to stay on a quiet street in Hakuba a short walk to restaurants and shuttle for skiing. Owners are wonderful people. Extremely helpful and friendly. The private onsen is nice after a day on the slopes.
