Everything was impeccable and the spaces are all very cozy. The private bath was a such a treat. We loved the views from the room and shared spaces as the house is next to the forest. Akira is an awesome host. Even though we stayed here during green (and rainy) season, he gave us lots of recommendations of things to do around the area. He speaks English fluently so communication was very easy. Can’t recommend enough!

Hakuba Amber Resort by Jade Group erbjuder luftkonditionerat boende i Hakuba med gratis WiFi och ett bubbelbad 12 km från Tsugaike Kogen skidområde. Enjoyed the house for summer for a big group and had a wonderful time! Staff was always quick/available to answer your questions or come by should you needed something. Sauna/onsen was definitely a highlight, along with the ready-to-go BBQ set (extra cost). Would love to come again!

The dinner was amazing. I was definitely worth coming here for the food. It was raining when we arrived but the next day it was beautiful. The pension was located in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend.

Everything was spot on and really felt Japanese in an area that is now run by foreigners. Rooms are large and tatami style, with a separate sitting area. Drying area in room and 2 heating units. Small tv was great and even had proper cable tv. Amazing Japanese staff, food was delicious and great prices. The property it self is large with a big ski and snowboard area. Dinning hall and two areas for relaxing. Common and can book for private their large baths. Very nice after a long day on the mountain. Which is only a short 250M to the chairlift. The are is surrounded by many small bars and restaurants, all good for walking. Staff is 100% perfect!

Just a 2 minute walk from Happo-One's Kokusai Slope ski lift and a 5-minute walk from Happo-One Ski Resort (Gondola) and Happo Village, Hakuba Landmark Happo Lodge offers accommodation with free WiFi.... If I could give more stars I would. From our first email exchange to driving us to the bus station when we left, Paul and Tracy were incredibly helpful at every step. From helping us book a private onsen to cheering us on before skiing and sharing insider tips on the best mountain routes, he went above and beyond. Paul truly embodies hospitality. He is genuinely happy to be there and makes you feel equally happy to be his guest. The amenities were just as impressive: rotating hot breakfasts each morning, comfortable beds, hot showers, and a cozy common area. Everything was in excellent condition. And the location couldn’t be better, practically ski-in, ski-out. If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate!

Marushige ligger 22 km från Ryuoo skidpark i Nozawaonsen och erbjuder boende med luftkonditionering och gratis WiFi. Marushige serverar en amerikansk frukost och en asiatisk frukost. I loved everything here. Usually lodge has only Japanese futon in tatami room but we slept comfortably in bed. Breakfast was tasty and hospitality was incredible. They also have sauna 😍

Pension Belnina ligger i Hakuba i regionen Nagano, nära Happo One skidort och Hakuba–Happo bussterminal, och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering samt tillgång till ett... Taka is an amazing host, he is very friendly and helpful - his wife cooks really good breakfast (vegetarian friendly). The Pension is closed to the free shuttle bus to go to the ski resort and there is a lot of restaurant/cafe around. The private Onsen is also a really good + ! I wish I could stay longer and will definitely come back

ノマの森 Nomanomori B&B ligger i Chino och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi. Som gäst har du tillgång till en trädgård, en terrass och en bar. The hosts are kind and thoughtful and gave us very good advice for dinner locally and for our next destination. Best of all, the breakfast was delicious and kept us going all day. Our room was small, but we knew that when we booked so we were not bothered by that in any way. Aovely way to break up the trip from Tokyo to Kamikochi if you have a car and it is worth a visit just for the sake of being there.

Shiga Kogen Lodge ligger i Yamanouchi och erbjuder boende med utsikt över bergen, gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering, 20 km från Jigokudanis appark. The food was amazing, it was an experience on it's own. Be prepared to eat things that you wouldn't usually eat and have a real authentic Japanese experience. I looked forward to breakfast every day, the food was beautiful and presented beautifully. The owners are super helpful and the location to the ski lifts is superb. We hadn't done an Onsen yet until we stayed at Shiga Kogen, so it was baptism by fire as the shared bathrooms is the Onsen, but don't be put off, it's an amazing experience and the Onsen is great after a day on the slopes.
