I think this might be the best place I've stayed in Japan. Log burning fire, hosts that bend over backwards to welcome you and they picked me up and dropped me off from Oja station. We took JR Hanawa train and prepared to walk from the station. When we got off the train at Appikogen, the owner Tomo was there to pick up us which was amazing ! We enjoyed traditional Japanese style room and hospitality. We enjoyed lovely freshly brewed coffee too.
