It is a gem, located in the middle of the rice fields and overlooking the beautiful countryside of Cambodia. Our room was just beautiful. So much eye for detail. The bath was the cherry on the cake, as well as the diner on our patio and the complementary tea experience. But the very best? The people hosting this hotel. Thank you for making our stay SO SPECIAL! We will never forget. We will tell Belgians to come and will always think of you when wearing the beautiful local bathrobe. Thanks a million. We had a wonderful stay and can truly recommend this place. The hotel is located only about ten minutes (by tuk tuk) from the city center, yet it feels incredibly quiet and secluded – an absolute highlight if you’re looking for a peaceful escape in nature while still being close to town when needed. The property is directly by the river and offers stunning views. Waking up to the river scenery was one of our favorite parts of the stay. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the entire place felt very well cared for. The staff deserves special mention: everyone was extremely friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. The team was constantly reachable via WhatsApp, which made communication very easy and reassuring. There is a laundry service available, and breakfast was excellent. You can choose between a healthy breakfast, English or American breakfast, all served daily on the river deck. Having breakfast on the terrace right by the river with that view was truly special. We also received complimentary fresh fruits, and the villa was cleaned daily, which added a lot to the overall comfort. We stayed in the Deluxe Villa which was beautifully designed and perfectly integrated into the natural surroundings. The villa was very spacious and included a fully equipped kitchen and a large fridge, which was extremely convenient. The pool area is beautiful as well, and during our stay we were completely alone, which made the experience even more unique – it felt like having the entire property to ourselves. Several activities are included, such as canoeing on the river and playing billiards. The team also helped us organize a mountain tour to the nearby national park, which was very well arranged and easy. Since the villas are built in a local style and embedded in nature, you should expect a few geckos or lizards and natural sounds at night. We personally loved this and felt it added to the authentic experience.
