Waking up in the middle of mangroves and palmtrees, hearing the sound of the ocean was just the perfect start for our Sri Lanka trip. Food and drinks were delicious!

The room was nice, had a nice comfortable sleep. The attention to cleanliness and comfort exceeded my expectations. Waking up to the sounds of birds was an added luxury you get here with natural surroundings. the unobstructed mountain view from my room was a perfect setting for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway.

We had a very nice stay. The propery is unique and picturesque. The host was very helpful and arranged a perfect vegetarian breakfast for us. Must book when in unawatuna.

Ocean Pearl Cottage biedt een restaurant en accommodatie met een tuin, een terras en een privéstrand. Ahungalla Beach ligt op 6 minuten lopen. We had a fantastic time at Ocean Pearl Cottage! Room was spacious, comfortable bed and new ac. The host was very caring and lovely man! Once he heard that it was our honeymoon, same evening he left a surprise for us in a room, which I will attach with pictures. Not to mention all additional snacks and drinks during the day and evening. This man really knows what is the highest level of customer service. He also took us to the beach to look for turtles laying eggs at night! He will help you with everything you need. It was a great experience! I would also like to add that Jungle beach bar nearby is a great place to spend time during the day, to eat some food and get a drink with a sunset. The beach itself is also lovely and very peaceful. We had best time out of all places during our 3 week trip in Sri Lanka, thank you so much!
