Kele Yala is a boutique hotel situated in the dry zone in Kataragama. The staff was execellent, and the food was delicious. Everything was great and the location was very special. We had a pleasent stay there.

This place is magical. So peaceful in the woods with the waves breaking just a couple of 100m away. The hammock was lovely to relax in. Loved the location.

Such lovely hosts who made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was wonderful, including fresh mango, pineapple and papaya from the lush garden. Rohan also brought us tea in the afternoon both days. The bed was super comfortable, with lovely bedding. A 15-minute walk or quick tuktuk to some of the most incredible quiet beaches I've ever seen. Would definitely recommend.

One of the most unforgettable moments was the amazing dinner we had on the rock, with a fire burning beside us under the open sky—it was truly magical and unlike anything I've experienced before. The traditional Sri Lankan meals were another highlight—so flavorful and made with love. If you're looking for a unique jungle experience with warm hospitality and unforgettable moments, this place is absolutely worth it. I can’t wait to return!
